  1. When I was an apprentice in the printing trade in Dundee one of the tradies thought he was a real ladies’ man. One day one of the real old guys said to me: “See that lad there, he’s trachled wi his wully”.
    Brilliant!!!

  2. Glad I’m not the only one to remember this word! In Aberdeenshire “Sair’s ma trachle” means roughly “I have a hard row to hoe”, but is often used ironically in conclusion by a person who who has been having a good moan.

  3. We have 5 children, 2 foster children and 3 birth children – I have just put the initials of all of our names into a scrabble dictionary and we spell the word trachle, definition: an exhausting effort 😂
