One gnome upon his ferret approaches another at his camp lighting his pipe.
The Scottish Word:

We snowkit yer weet bitch green bogie-roll tabacha – twa glens awa.

We kent where ye wiz even afore ye started tae licht the baccie in yer no sae sma pipe – reekin an feuchin at it.

snowk, snoke, snock: scent out, smell, hunt.

We scented out your wet bitch green bogie-roll tobacco – two valleys away.

We knew where you were even before you started to light the tobacco in your, not so small, pipe – smoking and puffing at it.

The Scottish Word: snowk with its definition and its meaning illustrated and captioned with the word used in context in the Scots language and in English.

My experience around pipe smokers as a child was that there was a damn sight less smoke from pipes than what is now produced by Vape machines.

And a pipe had a better scent too.
