Climate forecasters are now alarmed that these events are happening sooner than their models predicted.

This is bad news. What can you do?

Strength in numbers. Join a group and act in numbers against those that have a vested interest in not doing anything against changing the status quo.

Personal sacrifices such as you giving up fossil fuel vehicles or paying for a more efficient home heating system are no longer enough to have a noticeable effect in time.
