Hogmanay

Translated:

Hogmanay: the last day of the year.

Celebrated in Scotland by excellent hospitality towards midnight and beyond, sometimes for weeks. Whisky, music, dancing, shortbread, oatcakes, black bun, coal, and firstfooting.
