– This 1997 site was resurrected from Internet oblivion in 2023 and updated so as to behave nicely with our touch enabled multi sized modern mobile devices. The content remains very much the same as it was in 1997 just enabled to be deliverable in more up to date ways.
This resurrection was triggered by the death of two other greats, both last month. Bill Tidy who did for the North of England what Bud Neill did for Glasgow. And Wally Fawkes aka Trog who drew Flook, was renowned for his Punch covers and was one of the best caricaturists ever.
They too alas will fade and be forgotten over time. It is the way. I hope people like me, in the future, will keep their work accessible for new generations.
[You can compare this responsive site with the original 1997 static version which holds the same content and is archived here on the Internet WayBack Machine.]
