“Hud still while I slather this on otherwise ye’ll burn in the sun.” Translated: slather: slobber a lot on, smear. “Hold still while I sloppily slap this on in quantity – otherwise you will burn in this sun.”

Grandmothers don't always over indulge grandchildren and are not always politically correct.

“Get this moger redd up or yir both fur a lampin.” Translated: redd: clear up. “Get this mess cleared up or you will both be under threat of a beating.”
